Sunny Cheung Registered Provisional Psychologist
Sunny is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with over seven years of experience in counselling. He individually tailors his therapeutic approach and works collaboratively with clients to support them in working toward their goals and finding meaning and contentment in their lives. Sunny enjoys supporting individuals, parents, children/youth and families to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and resolve conflict. Sunny has a wide-range of experience that includes working as part of a mobile crisis team, a special education classroom, a community mental health hub and counselling individuals, children, youth and families in a walk-in clinic. He believes that creating a safe and supportive relationship with clients is the foundation for effective therapy.
Sunny completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary, followed by a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle. He has additional training in solution-focused therapy, attachment-based therapy, and family systems therapy.

Mckenzie Kool Registered Psychologist
Mckenzie is a Registered Psychologist and has been working in the realm of trauma for over a decade. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, as well as a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University.
Mckenzie’s approach to counselling comes from her experience in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, combined with the observation that the symptoms clients present with often have roots in unprocessed trauma or distressing life events. She works from an attachment perspective and a brain-based approach that aims to integrate unprocessed trauma in the nervous system, in order to alleviate psychological distress and unhealthy relationship patterns. Mckenzie also works to help clients resolve generational trauma that is passed down to us through no fault of our own. Mckenzie believes that we all have the ability to heal from the life experiences that have disconnected us from who we really are. She is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and believes that counselling should be both insightful and fun.
She has completed advanced training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), attachment focused EMDR, EMDR and egostates, clinical hypnosis, Internal family systems (IFS), and the comprehensive resource model (CRM). Terrie is a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria and a Conflict Resolution certificate from Mount Royal University. Terrie is driven to help clients develop awareness for how their historical life experiences shaped who they are, why this was necessary, and together find ways to change these adopted ways of being. She believes that within every person is their ideal self, waiting to be discovered. Terrie utilizes a client-centred approach and uses principles from dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and poly-vagal and somatic theories and is trained in eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and internal family systems (IFS). These modalities create a foundation for the processing of deep wounds using the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM). Janelle Morhun Registered Provisional Psychologist
Janelle believes therapy is for everyone, whether they are currently struggling or want to learn more about themselves. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore what’s most important to her clients and encourages them to get curious. Janelle is comfortable sitting with her clients in difficult feelings and can help them identify glimmering moments of hope. She is a creative person and enjoys bringing that creativity into the therapy space, whether it’s art, play, gentle movement, or whatever creativity may look like to her clients.
Janelle is trauma-informed and tailors therapy approaches appropriate to her client’s needs by drawing from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, internal family systems, and somatic therapies. She is also excited to soon receive training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and play therapy.

Leanne is passionate about helping individuals process their trauma and values the importance of the therapeutic relationship to make positive changes. Her experience stems from ten years of mental health training in an adolescent therapeutic campus-based mental health treatment program.
Leanne has a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and intergenerational trauma. She enjoys working with children, youth, and adults, providing her clients with the tools they need to help improve communication, strengthen relationships, and alleviate psychological distress.
